This black tea is easily one of our most popular offerings.  Decaffeinated using the CO2 process, our CO2 Decaf Spiced Chai tea is as aromatic and flavorful as the caffeinated version. Blended with six different spices (cinnamon, clove, ginger, fennel, coriander, & anise), this black tea creates a true spiced chai experience for decaf tea lovers.

Ingredients: Black tea, cinnamon, clove, ginger, fennel, natural and artificial flavor, coriander, anise seed

This tea is sold loose leaf, meaning it will not arrive packed in tea bags.

We use this to make iced tea. It makes the best tasting iced tea I've ever had.

No enough spices to be called Chia tea

I give it 2 stars as Chia tea. I give it 5 stars as a good basic black tea that can be used as a base for enjoying your own Chia tea. Don’t understand why they add coriander. Who puts cilantro in tea? I sent them an email requesting information on the artificial flavorings. Luckily, the seasonings have been used so sparingly that you can’t taste any of them. This Chia tea is the same price as the black teas so don’t feel I’ve been swindled. If I had paid extra for the so called “spices” would have returned for a refund. My chia recipe using this tea is to steep 5 mins in a cup of half almond milk and half water with your favorite spices (don’t let the tea boil or you will get that nasty tannin taste that makes your mouth feel dry). I added crushed cinnamon, ginger, cardamom pods, and black pepper. Sweeten to taste. I sweeten with a tsp of turmeric honey: 1/3 c honey to 2.5 tsp of turmeric. The turmeric adds a pleasant taste and is a good anti inflammatory for osteoarthritis. Please post your own Chia recipe in the reviews. Happy Holidays
